Ink and acrylic paint in a very thick transparent medium. I love these types of “fluid art” experimental videos where the movement of liquid and colour seems to mimic or represent nature in both scale and time. German photographer Roman De Giuli has truly mastered the technique. Starlit, the video below shows tiny bubbles, magnified greatly and captured moving through space (a fish tank). The end result gives the sense of a much much bigger space, outer space even. A lot more gooey liquid goodness can be seen at his great Terracollage website. Radiolarians is equally spectacular.
