A one night only, debut collaborative visual and audio cinematic experience a decade in the making. Last week I was fortunate enough to view the spectacular Tall Tales visual album / art film at ACMI in Melbourne. What an absolute treat, the sound was turned up, and the incredible experience was followed with a Q&A with music producer Mark Pritchard and genius visual artist Jonathan Zawada. Hyperreal, hue saturated and washed with the lyrics from Thom Yorke. An interesting point that was revealed in the Q&A, the luxury of time enabled far more experimentation than usual, some ideas were simmered, others returned to after much time considered, artistry enabled, true creators. In awe I was. Striking stuff. Not sure where or when this may be available to view in full, but keep it on your radar.
