Time for a major overhaul. A complete new rebuild for Hop Products Australia. The previous website had served the company really well, but the benefits gained from a rebuild allow for much improvement. Once again built with the Elementor page builder, the new website takes advantage of the flexbox containers, which allow more flexibility in design, especially in regard to the responsive requirements of webpages. The original design was mostly maintained (Futago), but a rebuild is always a great opportunity for small design tweaks and improvements in usability. Features of the website include, numerous “animate on scroll” items throughout, advanced multi level filtering on the product pages, a new lot lookup section that allows for the search, preview and download of the analytical breakdown and information of your purchase. And also a brewing calculator that allows for the calculation of the amount of required product based on your desired output – handy.
The complete rebuild also allowed for major improvements in the WordPress admin area that will now allow for a much simplified maintenance experience. Improved hosting and image compression also now have the website performing at its best. A website I am very proud of, a great client and still the largest grower of hops in Australia – HPA.
