Hana Katoba

I was once again struck by the quality and volume of output that some people manage to wrangle from artificial intelligence. Hana Katoba is an established visual artist and experienced photographer, embracing this new tool to curiously push creative expression. Recurring themes include flowers, nature, animals, femininity, dance – all painted in cinematic palettes that had me second guessing on their creation. More recent dance experiments on instagram had me completely mesmerised. Where AI heads is a mystery to us all, but this type of dreamy output has me far more hopeful that in the hands of the right operator, it may not offend and can be embraced or at least integrate more seamlessly than it currently seems to. A selection of favourites below, heap and heaps more images availabile to view and purchase at Hana’s neat website.
