Adam Ferriss

Watch those eyes. I like, you can find more here.

The year 10,535

Well that’s looking very far ahead. How have I not heard of Don Hertzfeldt before. This is sublime. Maybe even acutely accurate. You can find more of Don’s genius at his website www.bitterfilms.com

The Duke

Just John Wayne in a pink bunny suit – that’s all. Pilgrims.

5BORONYC – VHS

As previously posted on this blog, I have a fondness for the retro tape graphics of previous decades. 5BORONYC have recently released this great VHS series of skate decks – tape decks you might say. Desirable.

A Perfect Blend

Another genius pop culture mash up involving The Simpsons. Russian designer Constantin Bolimond very cleverly blends the work of Dutch painter Piet Mondriaan with the very recognisable Homer and Marge Simpson. A perfect blend indeed.

Air Drive

When I was 10, I felt fairly sure that this is how cars would look around now. Not yet it seems. A bit of clever retouching from photographer Renaud Marion creates the illusion of the floating car and hopefully a glimpse into the future. Smooth ride indeed.

Bartsquiat

I love a clever pop culture mash up. Bart Simpson meets Jean-Michel Basquiat. Nice one. By Vacancy Projects.

Cold Nite Art

Second year running, great night out with a couple of fine friends. Crisp night air, all about the art, warm crowds and great contemporary output, mainly from locals. Made me proud of Melbourne. The Chris Round images at Edmund Pearce Gallery were a highlight. Put it in your calendar. visit – www.niteart.com.au

Salt

I stumbled across these images the other day. Stunning. Turns out they are from Melbourne based photographer Emma Phillips. The images were taken in central Australia.
