Hometown Moon

Located in mountainous Tai’an City, Shandong Province, China, the Hometown Moon building by Syn Architects is just breathtaking. Commissioned as a tourist magnet, I myself would just love to visit, I feel the attraction. An artificial moon that never sets below the 0.5 metre pool that surrounds. Underneath, a void that looks to induce feelings of being underwater, a place to genuinely reflect. Just excellent. Discovered at Archello.
